Why Join The Montana National Guard is a 1000 member strong organization made up of active and retired Air and Army National Guard members. MTNGA was formed to promote the welfare of National Guard personnel. Today, we continue to deliver what we promised from the beginning – representation of our citizen soldiers to maintain the Guard as an effective national defense element and state emergency asset.
When you join the NGAMT you add your voice to thousands of others who understand the role of the National Guard in our state and the nation’s security and want to enhance its capabilities to perform that vital mission at home and overseas.
With your membership, NGAMT is better able to make the case in Congress for a strong, well-equipped and well-trained National Guard in more than 3,000 communities around the country. Joining NGAMT means ensuring Montana’s defense.
